TCS Series - Circular metal and plastic connectors

Description

TCS series metal and plastic connectors are a range of multiway connectors available in 3 shell sizes. These connectors are designed to offer a high quality performance solution for industrial, automotive, railway, subway, aircraft support systems, instrumentation and computer peripheral applications.

Each connector shell can accomodate a variety of inserts. The variety of insulators allows an optimisation on contact positions. The number of contacts ranges from 4 up to 37 contacts.

Features and benefits

• Available in panel/chassis mount and free hanging
• Available in plastic and metal version; cost and weight reduction for those applications where the metal shell is not needed
• Unique keying feature between shell and insert to expand the number of available contact configurations
• Key polarization on the shell to provide an anti-vibration lock
• Suit either pin or socket contacts, stamped and formed or machined in a current range up to 30 A
• Contacts available in gold/tin plating
• Contacts, both male and female, accomodate a wire range of AWG12 up to AWG30
• Standard IP65 when mated. Can meet IP67 with additional components
